Students undertake one semester of History. It provides a study of the history of the modern world and the role of Australia from 1918 to the present, with an emphasis on Australia in its global context. Students investigate two topics: wartime experiences through a study of World War II and, post-war migration to Australia. There is the opportunity to draw connections between historical events and current world events, allowing students to refine their historical knowledge, understanding and skills to become more global and aware citizens.听
